Mayflower Cafe Braselton

The Mayflower Cafe is a Jackson Mississippi "Landmark Eatery" dating to 1935 featuring Greek-inspired seafood & steak dishes in retro digs.

I was commissioned to paint this 8x10 on a Linen Panel as a unique Christmas gift from husband to wife. The wife's Dad worked in one of the adjacent buildings to the Mayflower Cafe back in the 1940's. To make the painting more special, I painted a replica of her Dad's Studebaker parked in front of the building.
